The past year has surpassed all our expectations. While the social impact leaders and community we work with are amongst the hardest hit, we count our blessings in having a team that rose to the challenge, not just to help ourselves and the people we work with stay afloat, but also to build the resilience we need going forward.
Over the years, we have fundraised more than HK$10 million for our portfolio companies. By 2020, our impact-based higher-education program has offered close to 1,000 university students from over 40 countries the opportunity to future-proof themselves by working at our portfolio of social impact organizations. Since taking over the Community Connections Program early last year, we have reached 28 Social Impact Partners and 60 Corporate Participants. At the same time, our Community Business Support services continue to expand to benefit our portfolio companies and other social impact organizations.
