Community Connections Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of our services, including but not limited to FSI’s Community Connections Program (the “Program”), any Connection Session under such Program, FSI’s website, as well as all communications, events, activities and placements arranged by or through FSI (collectively, the “Services”).
You, being a skilled volunteer and a Corporate Participant (“CP”) under the Program or a Corporate Participant Invitee (‘CPIs’) introduced by the CP (as the case maybe), understand and agree that, with respect to the Services, FSI only provides information and does not provide any advice to CPIs, CPs or the social impact partner organizations invited to participate in the Program (SIPs and also referred to as Community Partners). FSI shall not in any way be considered an agent of CPIs, CPs or SIPs (also referred to as Community Partners) with respect to the Services. You shall be responsible for the consequences of your activities with respect to the use of the Services. Your communications, engagements or dealings with any SIP (also referred to Community Partners) matched through the Services are solely between you and such organizations. Your access to and use of the Services are at your own risk.
You should independently assess and verify the truthfulness, accuracy, completeness and reliability of the information given through the Services, perform your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice where necessary. In particular, you understand and agree that you will perform your own due diligence before any dealings or engagement or working with a SIP (also referred to as Community Partner) or accepting a position (e.g. board position) in a SIP (also referred to as Community Partner). FSI takes no responsibility for (a) the contents of information given on behalf of CPIs, CPs or SIP (also referred to as Community Partners), or (b) any communication, statement, advice or opinion made by CPIs, CPs or SIP (also referred to as Community Partners)((a) and (b) collectively referred as the “Information”), makes no representation as to the accuracy or completeness of the Information, and expressly disclaims any liability whatsoever for any loss howsoever arising from or in reliance upon the whole or any part of the Information. FSI does not endorse any Information expressed by CPIs, CPs or SIP (also referred to as Community Partners). FSI cannot be deemed liable for any direct and/or indirect loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use the Services and its contents; or the reliance or use of any of the information provided through the Services.
No representations, warranties or guarantees of any kind (whether express or implied) concerning the Services are given. Nothing in these terms and conditions exclude or limit any liability for (i) death or personal injury arising from negligence; (ii) fraud; or (iii) any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by the laws of Hong Kong and both parties shall submit any dispute and claim to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
