What was the challenge?
Soap Cycling had no clear mechanism for recording data and the information management was siloed and unstructured. There were a lot of manual processes such as in the volunteer management system amongst others. This led to a lot of inefficiencies and there was a clear need to automate processes and structure data management systems.
Our Solution:
FSI closely worked with them to develop robust information structures using Google sheets and then ultimately Airtables to organize data. They also put into place connected systems that enabled automated data collection, record management and report creation.
Results:
As a result of these efforts, Soap Cycling was able to benefit from automated reports, integrated distribution and streamlined logistics which vastly enhanced their efficiency, approximately saving them 15-20 hours a week and using that time to re-focus and engage with the community
